Possible locations
We looked at 3 different places that we could put our solar home. All locations were on campus. One is located in the school garden which is gated in already. This is located at the front of the school. The second location is near the first, but is on the other side of the parking lot. This location is still near the front of the school. The third location is very excluded. This location is next to the tennis courts and not where anyone can easily see it.
The First Location
The garden is located next to the our office in the garden. The garden has a shed that takes up little space and is movable. There is a tree that covers part of the garden during certain times of the day. The few plants that are there don't take up much space, and even with all of these obstacles there is still plenty of space and sunlight left for the solar home. Also, because it is in front of the school, other people will be able to see the work that we did.

Wet temp: 17 degrees

The Second Location
The second location is in a very open area, which allows much of sunlight to reach the house. However this area is not fenced in so it could possibly require more work. The ground is flat, but rests on a slight hill. The ground is slightly sanded with many weeds. This location is behind some portables, across the street from the horse ranch. This location is visible from the street as well.
Site 2:
Dry temp: 13 degrees
Wet temp: 12 degrees
Dry temp - Wet temp: 1 degree
Relative Humidity: 89%

The Third Location
The third location is very excluded. It is near the tennis courts at the back of the school. This area is very shady which doesn't allow much sunlight. It is a flat grassy area near a stream, which would change the humidity. This location is extremely secluded.

Our Chosen Site
The site we chose was mostly based on the amount of sunlight and the temperature of the area. We chose the first site because it has a good amount of sunlight, while having a good temperature. The only other choice that we considered was the second location. Compared to the second, there was less wind in the first area. The fence around the first site also influenced our decision.
